MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission at the Butler County Jail is to be fully committed to our purpose of protecting the community, by housing inmates placed in our custody. We will make every effort to make a positive impact in their lives, utilizing proactive programs, and interpersonal communication with modern methods of control and care. We will strive to maintain a professional and positive environment so that we may deliver back to our community, responsible individuals. It's our plan to display to the community our commitment for excellence in the field of corrections.

Programs

All programs at the Butler County Jail are structured to create an environment for positive change in the offender's life, so they can better serve the community as productive citizens when released.

Work Program

The Butler County Jail Work Program works Monday-Friday on a daily basis county wide. The Inmates mow, weed-eat, pick-up trash, and assist the city and county in any other areas needed.

GED and Substance Abuse Programs

We also offer GED, NCRC, A/A, N/A, and Celebrate Recovery Programs.

Religious Services

Church and Bible Study are also available for all Inmates housed in the Butler County Jail.

MRT/Anger Management

MRT/Anger Management counseling services are also on site.
